What is more fun for a boy than doing a photo session while the construction trucks are cruising the streets!?! I had scouted this location several days earlier and approached the construction crew to see when they would be finished up their big road project. They said that was their last day, so I knew I’d be safe if the session was a few days off. Well I was surprised to see them still there several days later, but it was a blast for this cute guy to watch the big trucks!
This is such a happy guy! This wonder family won a Mother’s Day Giveaway session that I offered back in May. They were nominated by a friend of their’s and I am so glad they won the drawing. We met up near our downtown, and the trucks were still there. But after he watched the trucks for a while, he had lots of fun playing and hugging on his parents. The love between this family was everywhere!
Here is a bit more from Mom about this special guy… At 18 months old, G was diagnosed with fragile X syndrome. Fragile X syndrome causes global developmental delays and intellectual disability. It affects each person differently. G appears to be affected more mildly than most boys with the disorder. His greatest struggles currently are anxiety and motor delays due to hypermobile joints. To say that this diagnosis changed our lives would be a huge understatement. I quit my job to stay with G full time. Our days are filled with appointments and therapies, yet we always make time for fun first. After all, he’s a little boy first.”
Thank you for allowing me to capture you family at this special time in your lives! Here are a few favorites…
